Twenty six leaders from Geelong manufacturing businesses came together on Thursday 11th December to share business improvement success as part of their Graduation from the Leadership for Manufacturing Excellence Program.
Revenue growth initiatives and over $10M of value was generated for companies involved in the program, with participants delivering productivity improvements and cost reductions, whilst enhancing their leadership skills to achieve results through people.
Now in its 4th year, the Leadership for Manufacturing Excellence Program, established by the Geelong Manufacturing Council, delivers results for businesses and individuals, developing the leadership capacity to succeed in today’s challenging manufacturing environment.
This ten month long program provides a comprehensive skill set at the strategic, operational and tactical business level, incorporating facilitator led workshops, site visits and peer learning in Leadership, Lean and Innovation.
With over 80 graduates to date, an Alumni program operates to support participants on their business improvement and personal development journeys long after the program has concluded.
