GMC members GT Recycling, Boomaroo Nurseries and Worley hosted teams of local under-graduates recently as part of The Gordon’s Clean Economy Team Challenge. The program, in collaboration with GMC and the City of Greater Geelong, provided opportunities for students to collaborate on real-world industry problem-solving. The Team Challenge is a groundbreaking program designed to increase employability skills for graduates from Deakin University and The Gordon.
This initiative enables students to gain valuable experience with like-minded peers while increasing their job readiness.
Building skills within a team environment, students paired up with GMC members and gained practical experience and a deeper understanding of industry. The program, delivered by ReadyGrad, was part of the Advanced Manufacturing Clean Economy Training Needs project, led by The Gordon with funding from the Victorian Government.
