GMC warmly invites you to bring your Year 7-12 daughters, granddaughters, nieces, etc, to a special Father’s Day breakfast aimed at encouraging young women to take up careers in STEM.

A lack of female role models has often been cited as a major barrier to girls choosing STEM careers and continuing their maths and science at school.

Fathers, grandfathers, uncles: Bring your Year 7-12 school-age daughter to meet and speak with successful young engineer, Miranda George, and the new head of Deakin University’s Institute for Frontier Materials, leading scientist Sally McArthur, along with other women forging successful STEM-related and manufacturing careers.  Mothers are welcome too!!

This breakfast is co-sponsored by GMC’s Women in Manufacturing Network.
