Shane Hase brings 28 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution, with a strong focus on operations and community engagement. Since joining Incitec Pivot Limited (IPL) in 2017, he has overseen the distribution of around 1 million tonnes of imported and locally manufactured fertiliser annually across Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, and South Australia. Currently, Shane serves as the Production Manager at IPL’s North Shore Single Super Phosphate site in Geelong, which has been producing fertiliser for nearly 100 years and supplies Fluorosilicic acid (FSA) to multiple water boards.

Before joining IPL, Shane spent 11 years with Alcoa Rolled Products, holding various roles including Business Systems Coach, and also gained valuable experience with Nufarm and Wengfu Fertilisers. A boilermaker by trade, Shane’s journey from the shop floor to senior leadership has given him a unique perspective and a deep understanding of all levels of the business. He sees this as a strength, and uses his insight to ensure that the solutions he implements are practical and effective at every level.

Shane is also deeply committed to giving back to his local community, dedicating the past ten years to supporting and advocating for youth sport participation in the Northern suburbs.
